SikaGrout 212 is a precision-engineered, one-component cementitious grout system designed to deliver reliable structural support in anchoring, machinery installation, and general purpose grouting applications. Engineered with a unique dual-stage shrinkage compensation mechanism, this ready-to-mix formulation provides consistent performance and long-term durability in both plastic and hardened states. With exceptional flowability characteristics, it easily accommodates multiple consistency levels from dry pack to high flow applications, filling tight clearances and voids without segregation or equipment buildup.
This grout achieves impressive early strength development, reaching 4,500 psi compressive strength in just 24 hours at plastic consistency and allows for reliable load transfer within hours of placement. Its non-metallic composition, combined with superior freeze-thaw resistance and oil/water resistance, ensures structural integrity and dimensional stability over time. Ideal for both interior and exterior applications, SikaGrout 212 simplifies installation while maintaining industry-grade mechanical performance under static and dynamic loading conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the recommended layer thickness for SikaGrout 212?
It is designed for applications between 1/2 inch minimum and 4 inches maximum thickness. Thicker applications can be achieved by contacting Sika Technical Services.
How long before the grout can support loads?
Initial set time ranges from 3.5 to 6.5 hours depending on consistency, with the final set achieved in 4.5 to 8 hours at 73°F.
Can it be used in food processing environments?
Yes, SikaGrout 212 is USDA certified for use in food processing facilities.
What type of surface preparation is required?
Concrete surfaces must be sound and roughened to CSP 4 or higher. Steel should be blast-cleaned to white metal finish. All surfaces should be brought to saturated surface dry (SSD) condition before grouting.
How is it mixed and applied?
Add powder to water while mixing slowly with a low-speed drill mixer (less than 500 rpm) for 3 minutes until homogeneous. Place within 15 minutes of mixing to avoid air entrapment.
What’s the shelf life and storage requirements?
12 months from production date when stored in original, unopened packaging at 40-95°F. Protect from moisture and discard if dampened.
